ROYEE WENG

I am a New York City-based multimedia director, editor and experiential producer with a deep curiosity for the lessons held in nature and the stories and traditions passed down through generations and communities. My work seeks to document the moments and narratives that shape our individual and collective human experiences.

I’m an avid collaborator and lifelong learner, centering empathy, community, and connection in everything I create and contribute to.

I hold an MFA in Photography, Video & Related Media from the School of Visual Arts and a BFA in Integrated Design, with a focus in Moving Image Arts, from Parsons School of Design.

My work has been exhibited at :iidrr gallery, Ofrendafest, AAAAH Culture, and Mother of Pearl Collective in New York City. My films have received awards from the New York International Women Film Festival, Berlin Shorts Award, Berlin Women Cinema Festival, Paris Women CineFest, WRPN Women’s International Film Festival, and Monza Film Fest.
